"Best Wood Boat" Trophy at an ACBS Boat Show

This 2016 Glen-L Monaco is modeled after a pre-war Chris Craft Racing Runabout and was built by the seller over a three-year period using plans from Glen-L Marine. The boat was built with African Mahogany, marine plywood, and a two-part polyurethane finish. An injected 5.7L V8 from PCM Engines provides power and is paired with a 1.23:1 down angle transmission. Additional features include hydraulic steering, dual bilge pumps, and a fume detector/alarm system. All told, the build involved an estimated 2000+ hours of labor, and just six hours have been added since it was completed. This Monaco received the “Best Wood Boat” trophy at an ACBS (Antique and Classic Boat Society) boat show this past October, and it is now being offered for sale with a custom tandem trailer and a clean title
